Jessie Awards

I was proud and deeply moved to see my father, John Wright, receive the Career Achievement Award at this year’s Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards in Vancouver.  Happy to share video of his brief acceptance speech, below.

My father’s theatre company, Blackbird Theatre, operated in Vancouver for 12 years and was widely acclaimed as “Vancouver’s finest presenter of classic theatre” (Globe and Mail).
