This tough, witty, and moving story is currently nominated for the 2015 Governor-General’s Award for Drama.

Iris has always seen herself as an underachiever, but she’s stronger than she thinks.  And her mom, Bernice, knows it.  Which is why Bernice is about to ask Iris for the biggest favour either of them could imagine.

This is a story of family:  those people we sometimes can’t stand, but always hold onto with all we’ve got.  It’s about a gloppy casserole, a toddler named Heaven, and what we will do for the people we love.
